Just a month ago Super Talent introduced some of the world’s first DDR3 modules, offered in 1333 and 1066MHz speeds. Now after countless hours of exhaustive testing, our engineering team has succeeded in reaching incredible new peaks in memory frequency. In our labs we’ve managed to break the 2000MHz barrier using carefully selected and screened components. At this time we’re launching 1600MHz DDR3 modules. These new 1GB modules and 2GB kits are built with only the fastest available DDR3 chips that have passed our brutal qualifications. We test every module at 1600MHz under load, and select only those that can meet the challenge. If you’re trying to reach top DDR3 clock speeds here are a few recommendations from our extreme performance experts:
- Use a very fast P35 motherboard with the latest BIOS. We use the Asus P5K3 Deluxe on our test lines.
- Use a 1333MHz FSB CPU. If your CPU is only rated at FSB1066 you’ll have a tough time getting DDR3 above about 1540MHz.
- Use Super Talent’s new 1600MHz DDR3 memory!

Unfortunately, due to a recent die rev change from a major chip supplier we’re forced to loosen our latency specs on these products from our current 4-4-3-8. Please be aware that these products will hereafter be tested and guaranteed to operate at new 4-4-4-12 latencies.

Exelerator™ Drives Shipping Now
Our new internal ReadyBoost drives are shipping now in sample quantities. We’re ramping up our production now, so these products will be shipping in mass volumes by mid July. Exelerator drives were built specifically to boost performance of Windows® Vista™ systems. These drives plug into a standard 9-pin USB header on the motherboard inside your system to function as a dedicated ReadyBoost, delivering up to 10% performance gains in Vista.
