Firmware update to 2142 for ST28A6X25H

The latest and final firmware for Ultra Drive GX/GX2 series.

Firmware update to 2142 for ST28A6X25H

Postby RisingEdge » Fri Oct 12, 2012 12:54 pm

I have updated a SX56B7X25H and Trim now works.
Trim fails for the ST28A6X25H (128GB).
The middle ssn is ADBX (P587000-ADBX-9219002).
What Device Type should I select?

The update failed.
The tool shows the correct SN, SATA of PASS, Module of FAIL, and Status of ERROR.
What else can I try, or information supply?

Module fail means that your SSD NAND combination is different from the firmware tool.
Please double click the "Module Fail" part and see the pop up window.
If you can make a screenshot of that, please upload it.

I will work on a screen shot but I think this is the needed info:
ERROR: Invalid flash specification ID
Current Spec ID = 68A651D5 Original Spec ID = 78B655D7

There must be more detailed information about bank and chips.
"One or more of chips went bad and it is not detected."
In that case, you don't have any option but RMA.
Thanks,
James

Try this final.
TH58NVG6D2ETA20 128GB.
If this final try does not work, please open the case and let me know of the NAND chip part number.
If possible, take a picture and upload it for me.
