Hello,

I have the Super Talent SSD:

IDE \ DiskSTT_FTM64GX25H__________________________1916W___
SN: P578493-DEBX-8139173

and would like to update the firmware with the MP tool. The SSD is recognized what I have to select the Device Type in the MP Tool, which is the latest FW?

Hi,

I'm Andrew from Super Talent, I've looked into your question and currently have an engineer looking into the SN of your SSD.
Once I am provided the flash selection for your device and instructions on which FW to update with, someone will let you know how to proceed.

Mr. Cobra,

I have received the F/W updating tool from the engineer but I do not have a valid email address I can forward it to and I am unable to upload to a link for you to download it at. Please PM me your e-mail so that I can send this information to you.

If you are not able to get back to me before 5:30 PM PST today, I will send you the updating tool first thing when I get in the office on 12/26/2012.

Dear Cobra,

IDE \ DiskSTT_FTM64GX25H__________________________1916W___
SN: P578493-DEBX-8139173
Your SSD Flash selection is K9LBG08U0M 64GB...
If it is not working, please try with K9LBG08U0D 64GB.

Thanks,
James

A firmware update has been successful with the MP tool. Now, however, is:IDE \ SuperTalent_SSD_________________________0.1_____ and not"2142"! Have "K9LBG08U0M" is wall. Is this ok?

Hello, i also want to upgrade firmware on my SSD.
S/Nr: P620151-MIBY-323A014
Model Number: STT_FTM64GX25H
Firmware: 1916

I connected it to the 2nd Sata Port, it was recognized in User Mode (ran SmartViewer), I disconnected it, switched to Factory Mode, connected it again (power first) and it was recognized as an YABATONG or so...tried to upgrade firmware. MP Tool was configured for Auto detection. BIOS SATA Interface is in AHCI Mode, tried to change to IDE but Win 7 then didn't start anymore.

MP Tool brought an error see attached files. Maybe anything ist filled out wrong. I also uploaded the msinfo32 logfile for Motherboardinformation and so.

Thanks!

Hi Cobra,
your case is very simple.
You did not type the firmware version number and serial number manually.
Please type it when you run the MP TOOL.

Dear ML86,
I cannot access your screen... so I guess.
You can use AHCI mode without any problem...
Auto detection ==> manual detection is better...
Please select MT29F32G08CBABA 64GB.

thanks,
James

Hi James,

I flashed again the SSD. Please watch the short message:

at. Is there a problem, because of the warning message?
