Firmware V1711 upgrading questions

Sorry about the inconvenience.

NOTICE: We have removed the ver 1711 Firmware from our download page until further notice. In our urgency to get new firmware updates to our customers we didn't have adequate time to fully test v1711. Now that we've had time to perform more thorough compatibility testing on v1711 we've concluded that it's not yet ready for general release. Please stay tuned as we will release a new firmware update in the near future that has been fully validated. Meanwhile, if you upgraded to v1711 and are experiencing issues please contact support@supertalent.com for our Downgrade tool. Thanks for all your feedback on firmware updates and issues as your input helps strengthen our products.

Hello!

I have a FTM64GX25H SSD with ...DIX... in the serial number and the drive has SST_ in the drive name.

I tried to flash the new v1711 (FTM64GX25H_v1711 from the STT download page) Firmware several times with different boot usb drives by now, but it didn't work.
After I select the drive to flash, the updater abort with the errormessage: [Error]Firmware download fail!
I'm using the SSD on a GA-P35-DS3R Motherboard. Connecting the SSD to the mainbord Gigabyte SATA-controller instead of the Intel doesn't work as well.

I have no idea what i'm doing wrong and what I should try next. Maybe you can help me here?

Why don't just upload BOTH firmware for STT and non-STT drives ?
