Windows 7 has been released, so is there any news on the firmware update?

And what's with us who have drives with old FW?

VBM18C1Q is not the newest firmware. There is a newer version currently being shipped with all ssd's using Samsung controller and has support for "garbage collection" and "trim" in windows7.Unfortunately "trim" support is limited to single drive set-ups.....sorry raid guys(which includes me and my 2x64GB Masterdrive sx raid 0)

Samsung will be releasing an updater w/newest firmware to oem's by the end of November.
If SuperTalent does not supply the updater, you should be able to use any oem's updater for the Samsung controller. You can find more about this subject on other oem sites ie: O*Z

Thanks xdurus!

I know all that, but if I paid to Super Talent, I expect from Super Talent to let us know some news.
All we officially know is that new drives are shipped with newest FW.

If I update/upgrade my SSD with flasher and FW from other manufacturer and after that SSD stop working, who will "forgive" me and replace my SSD which I paid with 1/3 of my monthly earnings?

Windows 7 has been released just a few days ago.

Any chances, that we (MasterDrive SX owners) will get a new firmware with TRIM support?

Thanks

Hi ST-J,

I need to RMA my Masterdrive SX for stuttering issues, so will the replacement unit have the newer firmware just like the units shipping right now?

Thanks

Please release the firmware! Lenovo has released an updated on Oct. 20th for their SSD drives that are months if not years older than my drive.

I am really tired of waiting 1-2 seconds so that I can scroll and or type every now and then. I would RMA my drive but my drive is jammed in my drive and will have scuff marks outside due to me pulling it out with some pliers; If you guys would just flash my drive and send it back no questions asked then I'll RMA right now. BTW, just in-case you are wondering I have a ThinkPad X61T running Windows 7 64-bit (RTM).

Thanks,
