i still run 1571 have had no issues with the 128gb ultra drive ever its always fast im a graphic artist and i use and delete many things daily i have purchased 6 128gb ssd'd for every pc in my house never have had an issue with anything just changed to the new 790FXTAUD5 and performance has increased Major in raid 0 10G 6gbps AMD users this board is Awesome had the UD5P before now i know nothing about these scores but i feel the speed no matter what this atto diskbenchmark says

also sorry for the double post wanted to note that with this new board scores a 7.4 on windows experience HDD was 7.6 gfx 7.8 memory 7.7 processor 7.4 SUPERTALENT for me rocks and i have also had the other brand ssd's vertex x25 etx even the p128 but supertalent is the one for me sorry to hear so many having issues but i purchased 6 of these with no issues hope you all get it sorted sooner or later

what system are you using with this SSD?

next time if it happens, try

The best way for the firmware update :
1. Back up the data.
2. Run Sanitary_Erase (data will be deleted after running ti).
3. Firmware update
4. OS installation.

The above 4 steps is the BEST way to get the drive clean and best performance.

When you skip the 2nd step, the performance degrade may happen.

Where can I download Sanitary_Erase??

finally got updated to 1916. my performance is junk. 129 write/133 read. what am i missing here? i have trim turned on. windows 7, core2duo, 4gb ram, 64gb ssd

is it with the new firmware upgrade tool still necessary to run sanitary erase separately as mentioned in the instructions above ?

@kdiggz this might be an issue with V1916, so try the new 1916w or downgrade to 1816.
