Hi Heinrich:

that is the problem, V1711 HAS TO flash back to V1571 before upgrade to v1819. contact your local vendor/e-tailer or our support to fix it.

Hi,

I recently updated my firmware to 1819 final. However, I get massively decreased write performance due to a feature added in the 1819 final, which on other forums is referred to as "garbage collection", or "GC". I understand that there has been a closed beta test with the 1819 firmware, which ran successful and where no such performance decreases occurred (probably due to the absence of GC.
My question: Is it possible to get that beta firmware?

Thank you very much in advance!

If you look at the Oxx (OSeeZee) forum, you will see similar results after the upgrade. It may not have anything to do with garbage collection though. They recommend running a tool called "Sanitary Erase" (Google it), which wipes out everything on the drive, after you do the upgrade. At least for some people, it restores the performance to the original levels.

Regards, Drudge.

While flashing the drive, it is better to disable RAID, but you will be able to use it under normal OS.

any idea????

Which motherboard are you using?

If the SSD is not even found by bios, there must be something wrong. Please check by using exclosure USB or other computers, hope it will help; otherwise PM me.

If you don't run window 7, please try RFT 1571 which posted on our web:
