Hi,
if the CD Image doesn't work, why don't you use the "normal" way with an DOS-Boot Disk/USB-Stick? I did this and it worked like a charm...

V1819 firmware:
MAC Users running V1711:
You don't have to downgrade to V1571!![]()
Download V1819 RAR, not ISO (for example "FTM56GX.rar) and follow these steps:

Many thanx to Jinx!!!![]()
Reboot Mac and press "C". After that you 're entering DOS. Type in the name of your firmware + ".exe" (for example "FTM56GX.EXE") and enter. Wait. If you asked type "Y" and enter. Wait. Then type the number of your drive (for example "1") and enter. Upgrade should be succesfully. Reboot MAC OSX.
Testet under MAC 10.6.1 Snow Leopard with STT_FTM56GX25H_DIX.
There 're still no more problems with sleep-/wake up-mode under V1819. Other functions not complete testet.
Sorry for my bad english. I'm German.![]()
