here the information you asked:

Model : FTM64GX25H
Firmware : 1571
Serial Number : P550085-BBIX-3189001

I楹搈 wondering just why the FW Update to 1571 worked and the update on the new FW didn`t work.

Hi Mithri:
PM me the issue you meet and provide the detail of your SSD description under device management. I will help to check for you

i guess i have the same problem here: a brand new 256MB-GX, delivered with firmware 1571.

The 1819 update stops with "SSD information read fail"/"Invalid SSD drive".

Heres the spec:
Code: Select all
Model Number:       STT_FTM56GX25H
Serial Number:      P590946-FTBX-9309019
Firmware Revision:  1571

Notebook: Dell D820
IDE-Interface: 82801GBM/GHM (ICH7 family) SATA IDE Controller

AHCI is not even supported by this chipset as far as i know, so it should be in IDE mode (no option in BIOS)

Does somebody have an idea on how to make get the firmware upgrade running?

Thanks a lot!

I have a FTM56GX25H CDIX with 1571 Firmware.

I startet the Tool from CD, start the Upgrade and then i get an error message that the FW download has failed.
But when i start Windows (from an other HD) it has FW 1819. :?

Do i have the new FW really on my SSD or is this only a error and the wrong version is displayed?

Please help me!!
