Hallo

ich versuche schon den ganzen Tag ein downgrade auf die alte Frimware um dann die neue aufzuspielen.

1. Ich hatte zwei Partinionen auf Windows 7, installation nicht m鏋歡lich.
2. Neuinstallation XP -> konnte die Platte nicht finden.
3. Neuinstallation VISTA -> konnte die Platte nicht finden.
4. Neuinstallation Windows 7 Pro -> "Cannot update SSD firmware because the drive has a partition table" h鐩??

und nu?

Hello ST-J,
I got a problem with my FTM64GX25H SN: P588696-ATBX-1019404. When I first put it into my Dell D620 and wrote an Image back (Acronis), everything worked well. But after a short time the system crashed down with a blue screen which I haven楹搕 seen before, when using a standard HDD under XP Pro.

So I thought it would be good to do the update on FW 1819 閳?but it doesn閳ユ獩 work. FW now is vers. 1571 (have checked before).

Booting from DOS-CD - SDD is found. But when I try to run the Update-tool it comes up with the following errors:
1. SDD information read fail
2. Invalid SDD drive

I楹搗e tried in 3 PC楹搒 now 閳?but the errors have stayed the same閳ヮ泜nNeed help! Thanks and regards
Christian

Hi.

I have a 128GB CTBX with Firmware 1571 installed on it.

I am not able to update the firmware to 1819.
Even all suggested BIOS changes, swapping the parts and so on didn't help.

The ssdchk.exe seems to recognize the ssd and lists it but as soon I am starting the updater.bat it says that no (valid) disk has been found.

-firmware: 1819 from the official download site
-board: zotac 9300-itx

Any suggestions?

Thx in advance

du musst die platte erst mal alles l鏋歴chen...also partitionstabelle.

Which firmware version do you have now?
I assume that 1571.
If yes, then I think you have no options other than staying at 1571.
The upgrade soft is not working with FTM32GX25H.

Actually I haven't received the SSD yet. I just wanted to know which firmware I'm about to receive along with the SSD. I heard some SSD had been sent by SuperTalent with 1711.

By the way, the upgrade guide to 1819 says : "make sure the drive is FTMxxGX25H or FTDxxGX25H". So I assume my FTM32GX25H can be upgraded to 1819.

Yes - but according to upgrade guide, before flashing to fw1818 you have to downgrade from 1711 to 1571.

Yeah - it was my assumption to (I have exactly the same FTM32GX25H purchased two weeks ago).
I tried upgrade procedure on four different notebooks (MSI PX210, DELL D610, DELL630, HP Pavilion dv5-1225ew) and three PC's (two of them are Dell's and one brand new HP).
With all cases the AHCI was disabled (all BIOS tweaks to etc.).
I always got the error message "Download firmware error".
Unfortunately I have not received any assistance form Supertalent support.
Maybe you'll be lucky - I give up.

regards,
Gregory
