flash FTM56GX25H with MPTool

Postby orfonline » Fri Jan 04, 2013 2:02 am

Hello,

I'm trying to flash my FTM56GX25H, s/n P649579-MJBY-914A019 with MPTool to 2142. With "Device Type"/"Auto Detection" selected, "Refresh" doesn't deliver any result. Could you please tell me the correct Device Type?

Thx

Your SSD flash selection is MT29F128G08CJABA 256GB.
Please run the MP tool manually.
Thanks,

Hello James,

Thank you for the flash selection setting. Unfortunately I'm still not able to flash the SSD, pushing "refresh" in MPTool is delivering no result. I also tried it having changed the setting next to "Serial Number" from "Auto Increase" to "Manual" - has it been that what you ment with "run the MP tool manually"?

Connecting the SSD in User Mode to the PC, the driver is loading, everything seems ok. With factory mode on, sometimes OS is looking for the driver unsuccessfully, pushing "refresh" will let MPTool hang. Or OS isn't even trying to install the driver, then MPTool is simply showing no reaction besides blue glowing of the "refresh"-button.

Current SSD-Firmware is 2030, OS is Win 7 64-bit.

Do you have any hints?

Thanks,
Hart

Is your computer based on Intel? or give me your PC spec.
Or, set your PC User Account Control low.

Hello,

UAC was already at lowest level. PC is Lenovo Think Station S20, Intel Xeon W3565.

Thanks,

Per your Workstation SPEC, there are 2 chipsets.
Please use Intel ICH10R chipset controlled SATA port.
It will detect the SSD at factory mode when you run the MP TOOL.
