IOPS FUM56G818H ?

Hi all,

data sheet of FUM56G818H doesn't say anything about IOPS. Does anyone have Information about that?

at clean status, it might be around 1000~3000 range.
If it is steady state (dirty state), it might be around 100~300.

I'm not too familiar with SSDs, but that's rather poor, isn't it?

That is actually not poor.
most of SSD (even with SandForce SATA 6G controller) has around 100~1000 iops at steady state.
At clean state - some have 10K to 50K and some have 2 to 5k.
The major characteristics of SSD for consumer PCs is access time. not the speed and iops.
The major characteristics of SSD for Server and Enterprise/Data Centers is access time and iops.
In both cases, the primary is access time. People do not know that becuase so many market makers are advertising the performance with speed. hahahah.
That is marketing.
